About the IC200ALG230
The IC200ALG230 is an analogue input module from the Versamax modular I/O and control platform.
It is a compact analogue input module with four (4) individually configurable analogue input channels for voltage or current.
The module supports the interfacing of analogue signals, in particular unipolar 0 to 10VDC and bipolar +/-10 VDC voltage signals, as well as 4-20 mA current signals.
The IC200ALG230 is equipped with www.cniacs.com two (2) status LEDs for local reporting of the module’s operational status.
Specifically, the INT Power LED indicates that internally generated field power is being supplied and the OK LED indicates that backplane power is actively supplied to the module.
The analogue input module has two (2) jumpers for setting the module’s mode of operation, either voltage or current and unipolarity for bipolar data.
The IC200ALG230 has a built-in analogue-to-digital converter with a resolution of 4?A = 8 counts (configured for current operation) and 2.5 mV = 8 counts (for voltage configuration).
The module has a typical response time of 0.4 ms and a filter response of 5.0 ms.
The module’s input data can be configured to hold to a *later state or to go to a defined value if a module error is detected.
The IC200ALG230 can be fitted with an auxiliary I/O terminal for signal wiring.
The terminal part number is IC200TBM001. 002 or 005.
Additionally, the terminal I/O bracket is available with catalogue number IC200CHS001. 002 or 005.
In addition, the terminal I/O bays can be used with compact terminal I/O bays catalogue number IC200CHS001. 002. or 005. catalogue number IC200CHS022. 025. and connector I/O bays part number IC200CHS003.
The GE Fanuc IC200ALG230 module is part of the Versamax product line.
It is an analogue input module compatible with 4 current inputs or 4 voltage inputs.
The IC200ALG230 analogue input module does not require an external power supply because it draws power from the power supply on the Versamax PLC backplane.
It is designed to interface with a Versamax PLC or Programmable Logic Controller system in a commercial or industrial environment.
All 4 of its inputs are single-ended and they are arranged in groups of 1. The IC200ALG230 Analogue Input Module draws 5 mA of backplane current at 125 V output voltage.
By default, its input voltage is +/- 10 volts DC bipolar, but it can be configured to have 0 to 10 volts unipolar.
Configuration of the GE Fanuc Versamax IC200ALG230 Analogue Input Module can be accomplished using 2 jumpers on the carrier terminals.
