ABB’s new Carlon fan-rated ceiling boxes raise the bar on home safety

Commitment to safety and circularity

ABB’s Carlon Blue fan-rated ceiling boxes conform to UL 514C and meet NEC 314.27 (C) requirements for use in habitable and non-habitable rooms. Designed for new construction, the 4-inch diameter round boxes are available with an L-bracket for secure fan mounting or an adjustable bar hanger to position between ceiling joists. These boxes are available with or without a grounding screw.

Made in Portland, Tennessee, Carlon® Blue™ non-metallic boxes are produced using repurposed material from injection molding processes, diverting nearly 110 metric tons of waste from landfills each year. Covered by a third-party verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), consumers can make informed decisions about the energy usage, resource consumption and emissions used to manufacture Carlon products installed in their homes.

GE Fanuc IC200ERM002 Non-Isolated Expansion Module

About the IC200ERM002

The GE Fanuc IC200ERM002 module is a non-isolated expansion receiver module that is part of the Versamax family.

This expansion module is used to enhance the functionality of a Versamax PLC or I/O output station and also increases the number of modules that can be connected.

The IC200ERM002 Expansion Module has a **capacity of 7 racks with up to 8 modules per rack*.

It requires an installed power supply to power all connected devices.

When an additional power supply or booster carrier is used, it should be connected to the mains power supply on the IC200ERM002 Expansion Module.

It also features 3 on-board LEDs to indicate the operational status of the device.

The module can also be used as a single-ended or multi-rack Versamax I/O expansion system.

Where the module is used in a multi-rack implementation, the total cable length cannot exceed 50 feet or 15 meters.

When the Versamax GE Fanuc IC200ERM002 Non-Isolated Expansion Receiver Module is used in a single-ended system with only 1 expansion rack, the

The cable length should not exceed 3.3 feet or 1 meter.

It has a data rate of 2.765 Mbps or 5 Mbps, depending on the implementation used.

The GE Fanuc IC200ERM002 expansion module is equipped with two 26-pin D-shell expansion female ports.

In addition, it has two different current consumption ratings with a 3.3 volt or 5 volt backplane rating.

When the backplane voltage is 5 volts, the current consumption is rated at 70 milliamps and when the backplane voltage is rated at 20.3 volts, the current consumption is rated at 3 milliamps.

GE General Electric IC200MDD841 High-Speed Counter Module

About the IC200MDD841

The IC200MDD841 module is a high-speed counter module manufactured by GE Fanuc.

It is part of the Versamax series and has mixed discrete inputs and outputs, including 12 positive logic outputs and 20 positive logic inputs, some of which are configurable.

Devices connected to these I/O connectors have two states: on and off.

The GE Fanuc IC2MDD200 module has no protection features, such as internal fuses or isolation of individual channels.

It supports a variety of input and output configuration settings, such as pulse-width modulation, ramp pulse train, pulse train, and high-speed counters.

When this module is set to its default configuration, it has 841 Type A high-speed counter outputs and inputs.

These high-speed counters process pulse signals at 4 kHz. In addition, in the default configuration, the module has 80 standard outputs and 8 standard inputs.

The backplane powers the GE Fanuc IC200MDD841 high-speed counter module, but a separate power supply powers all external output devices.

When the module is connected to a backplane power supply rated at 5 volts, it draws 30 milliamps of current.

The inputs and outputs of the IC200MDD841 module operate at 24 volts DC.

The module’s on/off state current ratings are 3 to 8 mA/0 to 0.5 mA, respectively.

It measures 66.8 mm or 2.63 inches long, 110 mm or 4.3 inches wide, and 50 mm or 1.956 inches deep.

The high-speed counter module provides error detection and displays up to 13 words of status data.

It has on-board LEDs that display device status information.

The 1336E-B075-AE-EN-HA2-L6 drive is a 1336 IMPACT drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley.

It is rated at 380 to 480 volts AC, 56 kilowatts and 75 horsepower.

It is equipped with a programmer/controller with digital potentiometer HMI to simplify drive control and programming.

Up to 16 programmable speed command transitions are available on the drive, which supports SCANport communications and English as the programming language.

The 1336E-B075-AE-EN-HA2-L6 IMPACT drive is designed to provide unrivaled speed control.

The diagnostic features on this drive allow real-time monitoring of its logic board and power structure.

It has 32 entry fault queues and 32 entry warning queues with markers for clearing faults and timestamping power-ups.

Flying start mode on this drive applies to motors that are already spinning loads.

As with all B-frame 1336 IMPACT drives, the 1336E-B075-AE-EN-HA2-L6 drive does not support network connectivity through an isolated gateway.

Its memory storage is non-volatile, and it has a NEMA 1 (IP20)/EMC enclosure and a 115-volt AC control interface.

The function blocks on this drive provide greater flexibility than other drives.

Connecting the 1336E-B075-AE-EN-HA2-L6 IMPACT Drive to a Motor Using a Long Cable

Cable terminators or output chokes may be required to minimize voltage reflections at the motor terminals.

It can be fitted with different types of cables including shielded, unshielded and armored cables.
