Crouse-Hinds series MTL fieldbus barriers provide intrinsically safe spur

connections from a high-energy trunk, enabling reliable connection to

certified Foundation™ fieldbus H1 instruments.

These fieldbus barriers are engineered for hazardous areas, ensuring

safety and performance in process automation environments.

Our intrinsically safe fieldbus barriers are available in a variety of

configurations and materials, maximizing application flexibility for industrial

control systems.

• 9373-FB3 range: Complete enclosure systems for 12 intrinsically

safe spur connections

• 9377-FB3 range: Compact fieldbus barrier module for 12 intrinsically

safe spur connections

• 937x-FB2 range: Complete enclosure system for 6 or 12 intrinsically

safe spur connections

• 9372-FB range: Redundant fieldbus barrier enclosure for up to 6

intrinsically safe spur connections

• 9387-FB range: Open frame, redundant fieldbus barrier with pre-assembled

system components for up to 5 intrinsically safe spur connections

Open frame versions are designed for installation into user-selected field enclosures.

These are suitable for applications requiring special enclosure features such as

viewing windows, removable gland plates, or where multiple Fieldbus Barrier

segments are required in a single enclosure. Each unit comprises pre-wired and

assembled modular components on a stainless steel baseplate, for installation

into an Ex e certified field enclosure without the need for additional internal

wiring or ancillary components.
