DESCRIPTION
The IC200ALG331 is a 4-point analogue voltage/current input module from the VersaMax I/O family.
Formerly manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms, it is now part of Emerson Automation.
The module has four (4) individually isolated output channels that provide 1-20 mA and /-10 VDC output signals with 16-bit resolution and a maximum update rate of 7.0 ms.
The module is fully software configurable with selectable output hold or default last operating state functions.
About the IC200ALG331 The IC200ALF331 is an analogue output module for the VersaMax I/O platform, which consists of compact, versatile, and scalable distributed I/O modules.
This part number represents a 16-bit voltage and current configurable module with four (4) individually isolated output channels.
This module is used to drive and regulate final control elements (FCEs) such as control valves for flow control, variable frequency drives (VFDs) for motor speed and torque control,
dampers and shutters in facilities, and other equipment equipped with positioners in HVAC applications.
The module can also be used to relay analogue www.cniacs.com signals, which may be the result of continuous calculations within the logic of a programmable logic controller (PLC).
displayed by panel meters and recorded by data loggers. It can also be used to interface with a signal isolator or signal splitter, to
or to cascade a reference signal to another single-loop controller or PLC for more complex controller architectures, such as cascade control.
The IC200ALG331 has output channels that can be configured via software to generate +/-10 VDC or 4-20 mA output signals.
Each channel has a maximum update rate of 7ms and an accuracy of +/-0.1% of full scale maximum.
Each channel is also capable of configuring and detecting high/low limits, over/under ranges, open circuits, loss of field power, non-volatile memory faults, and
as well as individually assigning output behaviour for PLC stop or module errors (such as holding the last state or dropping to zero (0)), which can also be modified.
Since the IC200ALG331 is fully software configurable, there is no need to install a terminal jumper to the module to set the operating mode.
The GE IC200ALG331 module is a 16-bit analogue output module. It is equipped with 4 isolated channels.
It is part of the GE Fanuc Versamax module family. The main function of the module is to control multiple analogue devices at once.
The module can be easily configured using only software. There are no jumpers or switches in this output module variant.
The operating voltage range of this module is between -10 and 10 volts DC. The current rating of the module is 4 to 20 mA.
The analogue output module updates itself in a 7 millisecond time period. It draws a total of 15 milliamps of current from the 5-volt bus.
