New Product Launch for RTU540 Series
The new DIN rail RTU 560CID11 extends the RTU540 product line and is now available for sale and shipment.
This product complements the RTU540 product line with integrated input/output (I/O) modules as well as two Ethernet ports and four serial interfaces.
It is available in R0001 (24…. .60 V DC) and R0002 (110…125 VDC). . 125 VDC) for different process voltages.
The 560CID11 is a compact unit consisting of a communication unit (CMU), a multi-input/output module and a power supply (24 V DC).
It is mounted in a metal DIN rail housing. Various interfaces offer flexible and reliable communication possibilities.
Technical features
The main tasks of the 560CID11 are
– Acquisition of 8 analogue input signals (mA or V signals, 2 inputs for 100 ms fast scan)
– Acquisition of 16 digital input signals (1 input for a 16 kHz high-speed counter)
– Output 8 binary commands (via relays)
– Output 8 binary commands (via relay)
– Management and control of the I/O modules via 10-pole wired-OR-bus (WRB).
– Reads process events from the input board.
– Reads process events from the input board. Writes commands to the output board.
– Communication with the control system and the local HMI system via 4 integrated serial line interfaces and 2 Ethernet 10/100 BaseT LAN interfaces.
The 10/100 BaseT Ethernet LAN interface communicates with the control system and the local HMI system.
– Manages the time base of the RTU station and synchronises the I/O modules.
– Handles the dialogue between the RTU and the web browser via the Ethernet interface.
The main functions of the integrated I/O unit include
8 analogue inputs, 16 binary inputs and 8 binary outputs. www.cniacs.com Fault current detection is available as an option.
