DESCRIPTION: The IC693CPU372 is a GE Fanuc 90-30 series component.
It is a single-slot modular CPU with an AMD SC520 processor installed, a clock speed of 133MHz, and a maximum user program memory of 240Kbytes.
It supports 2048 discrete inputs, 2048 discrete outputs, 32.640 analogue input words (maximum) and 32.640 analogue output words (maximum).
It has two (2) built-in Ethernet interfaces supporting 10/100 mbps transfer speeds, Industrial Ethernet and Modbus TCP/IP.
About the IC693CPU372
The IC693CPU372 is a TCP I/P Ethernet communication interface. The module is mainly used to implement Ethernet communication
and supports system protocols such as Modbus TCP server/client and Industrial Ethernet.
The module can be used to perform periodic data exchanges using Ethernet Global Data (EGD), SRTP and SRTP clients.
The IC693CPU372 supports full PLC programming and configuration services. the IC693CPU372 has dual Ethernet ports that share the same IP address and can be used for a variety of applications.
The IC693CPU372 is equipped with dual Ethernet ports that share the same IP address and function as an internal Ethernet switch for networking and Device Level Ring (DLR) topology via daisy chain connections.
Each port supports network auto-sensing, eliminating the need to assign modules based on the speed of an existing network.
The IC693CPU372 is equipped with a dedicated processor clocked at 133 MHz.
For configuration, a built-in web server allows remote connection to a configuration station for simple module configuration and module monitoring.
For programming programmable logic controller (PLC) functions, the IC693CPU372 is configured using the machine version of the PLC Logic Developer from the Proficy Machine Edition software package.
The IC693CPU372 supports 2048 discrete inputs, 2048 discrete outputs, 128 – 32.640 analogue input words and 128 – 32640 analogue output words (maximum).
Total user memory is 240 Kbytes. internal memory is Random Access Memory (RAM) type with battery backup.
Optionally, non-volatile memory or flash memory can be added to provide memory that does not require battery power to retain its contents.
The IC693CPU372 module is designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc. This industrial communication module is used to communicate over an industrial Ethernet network running over the TCP/IP protocol.
