The VMIVME-2510B is a member of the VMIC Megamodule family, which is designed for universal programming.

The subsystem can be configured with consecutive www.cniacs.com I/O addresses to conserve memory.

These products (VMIVME-1110. VMIVME-2120. VMIVME-2130. and VMIVME-2510B) are designed with two sets of board address switches to provide efficient memory address mapping for CSR and I/O addresses.

The CSR address switches can be configured so that all CSRs on the various boards in the system can be mapped to contiguous memory locations.

Megamodule products are also designed to support 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit data transfers.

Specific hardware has been designed into the VMIVME-2510B to support the built-in test functions.

The VMIVME-2510B supports off-line and on-line fault detection and isolation. The front panel Fail LED is used to indicate when a fault exists on this board.

The LED is illuminated at power-up or reset. The LED can be turned off after successfully completing board level diagnostics.
