A-B 2706-LV4R Vacuum Fluorescent Display Human Machine Interface

The 2706-LV4R Message Display Terminal can be installed into the same panel cutout as the DL40. DL20. and DL10 terminals it is designed to replace.

The Allen-Bradley 2706-LV4R is a DL40 Plus message display.

It is a next-generation message display that directly replaces the models in the older Dataliner DL40 / DL20 series.

It has a vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) with adjustable brightness.

It has a four-line configuration with remote I/O and can display up to 20 characters per line*.

It has 128 KB of RAM and a 120 to 240 VAC input power supply.

The 2706-LV4R display supports bi-directional communication with PLCs and SLCs.

For communication, it has an RS-484 port for file transfer and an RS-232 port for uploading and downloading files.

It displays a variety of symbols and characters and can be read from up to 25 feet away*.

Applications developed for the previous DL40/DL20 series are compatible with the DL40 Plus.

It has various features such as embedded variables, message chaining, hidden messages, and data mode selection.

It supports real-time clock and RS-232 message triggering. It provides recovery in case of power failure during message editing.

It has isolated I/O ports and replaceable batteries and supports enhanced point-to-point communication from the message display.

Other enhancements include red, green, or amber message display colors and remote display relay control.

The 2706-LV4R message displays are highly customizable to effectively communicate alarms and messages in industrial environments.

A-B Rockwell 1791D-0V16PX Expansion Output Module

The 1791D-0V16PX module is suitable for operations involving a large distribution of I/O blocks in close proximity to sensors and actuators.

The module can also work properly with applications in limited operating spaces.

The 1791D CompactBlock I/O products, including the 1791D-0V16PX, are compact in size.

This feature allows these products to be installed in confined areas and shallow enclosures.

Compared to the 1790 CompactBlock LDX I/O module, the 1791D parts have a higher environmental specification.

They help expand the range of applications and reduce wiring costs. Due to the simple control functions of these modules, sense-to-actuate times are faster.

They also come with optional input filters that allow the user to select on-to-off or off-to-on delays.

Output short circuit protection is also a beneficial feature of this series as it keeps the output away from accidental wiring errors.

The 1791D-0V16PX is an expansion block for all basic modules.

It is run from an external 24 Vdc power supply that is independent of the network. The expansion block also comes with a 4 cm ribbon cable to connect it to the base block.

The 1791D-0V16PX can be panel mounted or mounted on DIN rails in any orientation.

A-B Rockwell 1394C-SJT05-D Servo Controller Module

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1394C-SJT05-D module is a servo controller module.

This module is manufactured as part of the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1394/1394C servo controller product line.

It is intended for use in industrial motion control systems that support multiple axes. the 1394C-SJT05-D Servo Controller Module uses logic power,

shunt power supplies, and input power supplies to operate because it has power connectors for all of these types of power supplies.

It also has relay outputs, analog outputs, and discrete inputs, as well as other connectors such as motor/auxiliary feedback connectors.

The 1394C-SJT05-D is a modular, multi-axis motion control drive system module rated at 5 kW.

Its unique design allows it to be used as an integrated motion control and drive system (GMC).

Allen-Bradley Dynamic Braking Chopper with 380/415/460V AC rating and 750V DC continuous voltage.

Allen-Bradley’s 1336-WB110 Dynamic Brake Chopper Module is a 480V AC brake chopper module with a 2.5-ohm braking resistor.

It is used to increase braking torque from 10-100% to 1336% for Allen-Bradley 1336. 1336VT, 1336PLUSII, 1336FORCE, or 1336IMPACT inverters.

The Brake Chopper Module has a 200A, 700V AC, Ferraz Shawmut fuse with an SCR overvoltage crowbar circuit for inexpensive but effective overvoltage protection.

It also features an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) chopper transistor voltage control to effectively regulate the DC bus voltage during regeneration.

The 1336-WB110 has an operating voltage range of 380-480V AC and an operating current of 110A, which allows it to be used with another Allen-Bremse module in applications where the operating current exceeds the module’s rated current.

In applications where the operating current exceeds the module’s current rating, it can be set up in parallel with another Allen-Bradley brake chopper module in a master-slave configuration.

The 1336-WB110 has a heavy-duty rating of 460V AC drive voltage, 750V DC conduction input voltage from a DC bus power supply, and a 2.5 ohm dynamic braking value.

A-B Rockwell 1391-DES45-DI-AQB Servo Controller Drive

The Allen Bradley 1391-DES45-DI-AQB is a servo controller driver that is part of the 1391 product family.

It has a rated input voltage of 240 VAC, three-phase, with a continuous output current of 3.45 RMS and a peak current of 0.90 amps.

Output power is 0.15 kW and peak output power is 0.30 kW. The drive also features an integrated display and encoder output.

The 1391-DES45-DI-AQB is a microprocessor-based digital servo drive primarily used with Allen-Bradley’s 1326 servo motor.

The servo drive is designed in a compact form factor, however, the drive supports add-on components as part of the drive’s scalability features.

Key features of the 1391-DES45-DI-AQB include an integrated display for local configuration of servo drive parameters.

It also has encoder outputs with options including 2048. 1024. 512 and 256 pulses per motor revolution. The higher the pulses, the higher the resolution and the more accurate the feedback.

The servo drive’s front panel displays a Human Interface Module (HIM) with five (5) numeric keypads for navigating and modifying drive parameters.

It also features an integrated status LED that blinks green when faults and low bus voltages are detected.

The LED flashes green when a fault and low bus voltage are detected, stabilizes in green when there is no fault and the bus voltage is at the correct level, and flashes red when a drive fault occurs.

It also has an enable LED that is a steady green when the enable input is off. When the enable input is on, the enable LED is not illuminated.

The TB2 and TB3 interface terminals are located on the bottom of the servo drive; TB2 is used to connect external signals and TB3 is used to terminate the encoder output signal.

The integrated fuses and circuit breakers are located on the top of the drive, along with TB4. TB5. and the duty cycle selector switch. Although this drive has internal protection circuitry, it is recommended that external protection be installed.

A-B Rockwell 1326AS-B440G-21-A Brushless Servo Motor

The 1326AB-B720E-21 servo motor is designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation.

It is part of the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1326 servo motor series.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1326AS-B440G-21-A Servo Motor

is a 1326-volt AC-class brushless servo motor from the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 460 series.

It is equipped with a metric flange with keyway and has an environmental rating of IP 65.

The 1326AS-B440G-21-A brushless servomotor can operate at low inertia and high acceleration.

A-B Rockwell 1756-TBNH Removable Terminal Block or RTB Module

The 1756-TBNH detachable terminal block can be used with up to 20 wires at a time.

The Allen-Bradley 1756-TBNH is a removable terminal block (RTB) for the 1756 I/O module.

It is an I/O module accessory and must be ordered separately.

The 1756-TBNH provides flexibility in interconnecting 1756 I/O modules and industrial plant wiring. It plugs into the front of the I/O module.

The 1756-TBNH removable terminal block is a 20-position NEMA screw clamp.

It has a screw torque of 1.36 Nm and a screwdriver width of 8 mm (5/16 in.)**.

It measures 5.51 x 4.41 x 5.71 inches. It weighs 0.3 lbs.

Wiring must be done with 0.33 – 2.1 mm-^2 (22 – 14 AWG) solid or stranded copper wire.

About the 1771-WD

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1771-WD Field Wiring Arm is a field wiring arm.

The arm is used with a variety of modules, such as the Allen-Bradley 1771 Digital Contact Output Modules (1771-OW, 1771-OYL, 1771-OZL).

Allen-Bradley 1771 digital AC output modules (1771-OD, 1771 ODZ, 1771-OR)

and Allen-Bradley 1771 Digital AC/DC Input Modules (1771-ID, 1771-ID01).

Note that the 1771-WD field wiring arm is used to connect the modules. The wiring arm attaches to the pivot bar on the bottom of the I/O chassis.

The field wiring arm rotates upward and connects to the module, allowing the module to be installed or removed without disconnecting wires.

Disconnect power from the module before connecting to the Allen-Bradley 1771-WD field wiring arm.

To make the connection, swing the junction arm to a position on the front of the module where the locking tabs on the module hold the 1771-WD field junction arm in place.

The actual connections should be followed after this step. Note that there is 1 wire per terminal.

However, if more than one connection needs to be made to a terminal, an auxiliary terminal strip should be used.

Note that the field wiring arm terminal identification number is different from the bit number that controls the specific output.

The Allen-Bradley 1771-WD field wiring arm supports 7 to 9 pounds of screw torque on one inch.

To indicate that a field load has been applied to the field wiring, all of the module’s status indicators will be illuminated.

Note that the 1771 gauge wire connected to all terminals on the 14-WD field wiring arm may not allow the field wiring arm cover to close.

Therefore, a smaller gauge wire may be required when this occurs.

A-B Rockwell 1794-ASB Remote I/O Communication Adapter Module

About the 1794-ASB

The 1794-ASB is an Allen-Bradley Remote I/O Communications Adapter Module. It is part of the Flex I/O product family of distributed I/O modules.

The 1794-ASB has one (1) remote I/O interface. This RIO protocol is a legacy protocol that connects devices to the RIO scanner using a Biotronik 9463 or equivalent cable.

The module is compatible with Allen-Bradley legacy controllers such as PLC2. PLC3. and PLC5 controllers as well as the SLC500 automation platform.

It can also be used with modern Logix controller platforms as well as third-party devices and includes partner modules.

The 3-ASB sends and receives data to and from the controller via the Block Transfer Read (BTR) and Block Transfer Write (BTW) instructions.

Using these instructions, packets can be sent simultaneously or sequentially, depending on the desired speed.

The 1794-ASB supports communication rates of 1794.57Kbps, 6.115Kbps, and 2.230kbps.

The module’s expected supply voltage range is 4VDC-11.31VDC, including 2% AC ripple, compared to the nominal 5VDC supply.

It supports the installation of up to eight (24) Flex I/O modules for successful implementation of distributed I/O architectures.

The module features built-in status indicators such as a power indicator, adapter activity indicator, adapter fault indicator, and local fault indicator.

The module is mounted on a standard DIN rail and has an open housing, which means the 8-ASB needs to be mounted in a proper enclosure to protect the equipment from industrial components and contaminants.
