The L-force I/O system 1000 offers highly deterministic control of

inputandoutputmodules,whichalsoincludesimportingtouchprobe

withatimestamp,ensuresthattheI/Osystem 1000itselfmeetsthe

strictest speed requirements here. As such, it is also suitable for use

in realtime-based architectures.

aswellasitsclearlystructuredlabellinganddiagnosticsconcept.The

I/O modules, which offer space for 8 connections, require just

Simply expanding the modular system

• FAST machine module solutions are achieved these days with a controller

and the corresponding servo drives. This solution is now topped with

integration of the safety controller. Using the same network viaEtherCAT,

the system topography is the same.

• The safety controller can be parameterised via the PLC Designer engineering

tool, in parallel with the controller 3200 C and the servo inverter.

From drive-based safety to controller-based safety:

this new simplicity can be seen among other things in the noticeably reduced

amount of wiring. This is the result of directly interlinking the Lenze controllers

for safety and motion – in addition to ready-made software solutions from the

FAST Application Software Toolbox. Hence in practice, a FAST module can,

for instance, control the reduction in traversing speed while at the same time

the safety controller within the system can monitor the safe maximum speed.

With the c250-S safety controller, a complete automation solution is provided for

safety engineering and control and drive tasks. Topped with the safety I/O module,

all the safety aspects in the machine module can be evaluated.

• The product must only be used as directed.

• Never commission the product in the event of visible damage.

• The product must never be technically modified.

• Never commission the product before assembly has been completed.

• The product must never be operated without required covers.

• Connect/disconnect all pluggable terminals only in de-energized condition.

• Only remove the product from the installation in the deenergized state.

Personnel

Only qualified and skilled personnel are allowed to work with the product.

IEC 60364 and/or CENELEC HD 384 define the qualifications of these persons

as follows:

• They are familiar with the installation, mounting, commissioning, and operation

of the product.

• They possess the appropriate qualifications for their tasks.

• They are familiar with all regulations for the prevention of accidents, directives,

and laws applicable at the location and are able to apply them.

If you carry out any technical modifications or alterations that are impermissible,

all your warranty claims will become void and the product liability will be excluded!

Device protection

• The maximum test voltage for insulation tests between a control potential of 24 V

and PE must not exceed 110 V DC (EN 61800−5−1).

Application as directed

The product is a piece of electrical equipment. The product is solely suited to be

installed in control cabinets or similar closed electrical operating areas, and to implement

control concepts, operational concepts, or to represent information in customary industrial

and commercial areas.

For the purpose of preventing injury to persons and damage to material assets,

higher-level safety systems have to be used!

LENZE C520 Application Credit

Application Credit

The controller uses a points system, the so-called “Application Credit”, as a license model for

certain functions. The amount of Application Credit required is calculated based on the

functions required for your application. An SD card with sufficient Application Credit must be

inserted in the controller to execute these functions without restriction. SD cards with

different amounts of Application Credit can be purchased directly with the controller or

separately from Lenze.

Functions that require an Application Credit are for example:

• Motion functions of the FAST Application Software

• OPC UA

• EASY UI clients

SD card

An already inserted SD card is included in the scope of supply of the controller.

The combination of control technology software and application data on the SD card ensures

that the data match the prevailing application in the present version. The SD card serves to

easily exchange data in a different device.

The SD card is used as memory for the following application data:

• PLC boot project with parameter description

• Application credit for the FAST application software

• Retain and logbook data

• User data (SD card/userData folder)

• Open source license description

Notes:

• The controller only works with a plugged-in SD card!

• Removal of the SD card while the controller is running will lead to a system failure!

• The SD card is required for the system start since it contains the system files for the

starting process.

• If the SD card has been temporarily removed, the controller must be restarted to access

the SD card again!

• Only use SD cards provided by Lenze. Only these SD cards have the corresponding

licensing.
