GE MLJ is a digital synchronism check relay

Description

The MLJ is a digital synchronism check relay that measures bus

and line voltages, checking:

• voltage differences

• frequency slip

• phase angle between both voltages

The main applications of the MLJ are:

• connection of a generator to the network

• reestablishing the connection between two parts of the

network

• manual closing of breakers

The relay sends a closing output to the breaker when all of the

values fall within the set limits and maintain these values for a

period of time which has been set by the user. If any of the

condi tions are not met, the relay will provide a close condition

fault signal.

The relay has two operational modes:

• a continuous mode in which itconstantly checks the synchro

nism

• the manual mode is activated when voltage is applied to a

manual digital input, initiating the synchronism supervision

when voltage is applied by another check starting digital

input

DEIF AGC 150 Generator Advanced Genset Controller

The AGC 150 Genset controller containing all necessary functions for control and protection of a genset.

The slim design makes the genset controller suitable for paralleling even small gensets thus the AGC

150 is integrable in nearly all types of gensets.

AGC 150 – Advanced Genset Controller

Easy setup

Gensets connected via CAN bus are easily set up for parallel operation as the controllers automatically

detect each other at the CAN network. If you at a later stage connect more gensets, the controller

automatically identifies and connects them via CAN bus, and application configuration is possible via

the display.

Easy and safe to use

Get access to important genset information quickly via the sunlight readable LCD.

The controller features illuminated buttons that smoothly guide the operator and make it very easy

and intuitive to operate. Only buttons relevant for a function are visible to the user. Get easy access

to the most common functions with configurable shortcuts.

The AGC 150 provides up to three levels (customer, service, and master) of password-protected and

role-based access. Configure parameters for each level and have only relevant parameters displayed.

Built to last – also in green energy applications

The AGC 150 comes with uncompromising quality. The controller is made of robust materials and is

built to last. It has undergone several tests showing that it stands wear and tear in all types of harsh

environments. Also, the controller is suitable for PV-Diesel hybrid solutions and also meets Tier 4 Final

requirements

DEIF Key features of modern ATS controllers

Key features of modern ATS controllers

Supports Any Power Source

Advanced ATS units can operate in both traditional Generator–Mains mode and Source–Source mode. This means they can handle virtually any setup-including dual mains inputs, genset‑hybrid combinations, and renewable energy sources.

Seamless Blackout Prevention

With features like overlap switching, modern ATS controllers prevent blackouts by keeping both breakers closed for a user‑defined period, allowing short‑time paralleling for a smooth transition between sources.

Flexible 2‑ or 3‑Breaker Operation

Whether your system uses two or three breakers, a quality ATS controller can be configured to handle complex setups-such as opening and closing bus tie breakers between two power sources-making it suitable for global applications across many industries.

Easy Installation & Intuitive Operation

IP65‑certified, front‑mounted designs and sunlight‑readable LCD displays make the newest ATS controllers simple to install and operate. With configurable parameters and support for utility software like M‑Logic, setup becomes fast and user‑friendly.

DEIF ATS controllers – Reliable, flexible & efficient power transfer solutions

ATS controllers (Automatic Transfer Switch controllers) are essential components in emergency power systems, ensuring seamless and reliable transfer between primary and backup power sources. Modern ATS controllers-such as the advanced AGC‑150 ATS-are designed to enhance uptime, protect critical equipment, and maintain stable power in facilities of all sizes.

What is an ATS controller?

An ATS controller monitors the primary power source for voltage, frequency, and other irregularities. If an outage or anomaly occurs, the controller automatically switches to a secondary power source-such as a genset, renewable system, or battery energy storage-ensuring uninterrupted operation.

Why choose a modern ATS Controller?

• Minimize downtime during grid failures

• Optimize power flow across multiple sources

• Enhance safety and equipment protection

• Support hybrid and renewable power systems

• Ensure automatic, hands‑off system operation

Whether you are managing a data center, commercial building, industrial facility, or renewable‑hybrid power plant, the right ATS controller ensures your power system performs safely and efficiently under all conditions.

DEIF Key benefits of hybrid power

Key benefits of hybrid power

Hybrid power reduces emissions by maximising green energy penetration in your energy mix while ensuring reliable power. It improves the efficiency of diesel generators, helping you cut emissions and extend service life. And you can achieve hybrid profitability through lower operating costs, reduced mains power use, and lower fuel consumption.

Designed for scalability and compatibility

The ability to flexibly combine power sources makes hybrid power solutions both sustainable and reliable. DEIF control solutions add to this flexibility by facilitating quick system reconfiguration, letting you scale and redesign your solution as required. New controllers are onboarded automatically as soon as they are connected, including them in the energy management logic and helping you meet your business objectives.

In greenfield applications, DEIF hybrid microgrid controllers form complete energy management systems (EMS) or power management systems (PMS), ensuring reliability and resilience. In brownfield applications, they can be integrated in third-party EMS/PMS solutions or deployed on their own in standalone off-grid or mains parallel applications.
