2787 Series WAGO Power Supplies Pro 2

Introduction

The 2787 Series WAGO Power Supplies Pro 2 are compact switched-mode

Power Supplies with a wide range of uses. The Power Supplies can be fitted on a DIN

rail.

The Power Supplies can be configured directly via buttons on the product or via the inte

grated communication interface. For this purpose, the connection is established either via

the WAGO USB Communication Cable or via an attached communication module. It is

also possible to record and evaluate various output parameters via the WAGO Interface

Configuration software, which is available separately.

The pluggable connection technology uses WAGO pluggable connectors. These allow

pre-wiring for quicker installation, as well as quicker and easier product replacement.

LEDs indicate various diagnostic messages (see section Indicators).

Smaller, but better

The WAGO Power Supply Pro 2 is smaller than its predecessor, but offers greater efficiency.

What that means to you is three times the cost savings and further crucial advantages:

First of all: The higher efficiency of up to 96 % reduces energy loss, and thus energy costs.

Second: The WAGO Power Supply Pro 2 generates less heat in the control cabinet, allowing

corresponding savings on cooling solutions.

Third: Less warming means a longer service life of the components.

From planning, to installation, to long-term operation, the WAGO Power Supply Pro 2 saves

you even more time and money, since it can be created, planned, modified and ultimately

operated as a digital twin. All the necessary data is available in the most important 2D/3D

formats, and the communication provides transparency.

Marking compliant with EN 81346-2 is important for quick and safe installation.

The WAGO Power Supply Pro 2 accommodates this through unambiguous imprinted connection

designations and the option of device identification through marking strips.

WAGO Switching Power Supplies Pro2 Series

Overview

WAGO Pro2 compact switched-mode power supplies provide a wide range of uses.

These power supplies can be mounted on a 35mm DIN rail and can be configured

directly via buttons on the device’s face, using the WAGO USB configuration cable to

connect to the integrated communication interface, or using one of the WAGO Pro2

communication modules. In addition, the WAGO Interface Configuration software

(free download) can be used to record and evaluate various output parameters.

The pluggable connection technology uses WAGO CAGE CLAMP® connectors, which

allow pre-wiring for quicker installations as well as quicker and easier product replacement.

For configuration, data collection, and read-out of status information, the Pro2 Power

Supply can be connected to a dedicated WAGO Pro2 communication module at any time,

allowing selection of the desired protocol for coupling to the automation and control system.

The LED bar chart on the front reliably indicates the current output power, as well as

overloads/load reserves. Furthermore, the LEDs indicate the selected operating mode and,

when needed, warnings and errors.
