The iXL2e’s performance is superior to other linear amplifier products on

the market. In addition, it comes with the full capability of an Aerotech

motion controller. When deployed to an iXL2e drive, the Automation1-iSMC

motion controller can control up to twelve axes of motion over the

Automation1 HyperWire® communication bus. EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP,

Modbus TCP and a Socket interface enable true full machine and motion

system control with this device. All axes are tightly coordinated with other

axes on the network to deliver contoured motion and a single, simple

machine control architecture.

Extend Your I/O

Configure the Automation1-iSMC with the appropriate industrial ethernet

options and connect additional third-party devices, completing your control

architecture – or simply configure the iXL2e with the onboard IO expansion

option.
