Prosoft PLX51-DLplus-232 Data Logger Plus

What if you could have your control devices’ data stored for predictive

maintenance or process improvements?

What if you could view and trend the stored data easily?

What if you could retrieve the stored data easily?

The PLX51-DLplus-232 Data Logger is ideal for remote sites with

limited communications that need to log data. OEMs can log their

machine’s data to identify operational problems or efficiency

improvements and can view this data online as trends via an integrated

webserver. The trend data can be exported as a CSV file. The module

supports REST API to collect JSON encoded data from the module that

can be sent to other systems.

The PLX51-DLplus-232 can read and store data from EtherNet/IP™

PLCs, DF1 Serial PLCs and devices, or Modbus® PLCs and devices.

The PLX51-DLplus-232 has the capacity to store over 16 million

records in its solid-state non-volatile memory. Each stored record

includes a Date Time stamp, Tag Name, Data Type, and Value.

Features

• A built in web server to trend up to five (5) user defined variables

with configurable time period

• REST API to collect JSON-encoded data and send to other systems

• Stored data can be downloaded to a CSV file via the webserver or

manually  using the PLX50 Configuration Utility

• A built-in webserver provides detailed diagnostics of system configuration

and operation

• Two modes: Data stored until memory is full or oldest data overwritten

when memory is full – First in, First out

Prosoft A-CNR Features

Features

newer EtherNet/IP Logix platforms, without replacing the existing ControlNet I/O.

 Can be configured as a ControlNet Target or Originator.

 Can operate as ControlNet Keeper.

 Supports Promiscuous Capture mode allowing the ControlNet Router to capture all traffic

on the ControlNet network.

 Can be configured as an EtherNet/IP Target or Originator.

 Can be configured as a Modbus TCP/IP Client to exchange ControlNet data with Modbus

TCP/IP servers.

 Can be configured as Modbus TCP/IP Server to exchange ControlNet data with Modbus

TCP/IP clients.

 Connect Ethernet-only PanelViews to Logix via ControlNet.

 Supports Scheduled & Unscheduled ControlNet for PanelViews.

 Program Logix controllers via ControlNet.

 Supports Redundant ControlNet and Ethernet.

 Advanced Diagnostics, including packet capture and webserver.

Prosoft A-CNR ControlNet Router can also be configured

The router can also be configured as a PCCC Client (allows the module to emulate a

PLC5 or SLC5 providing legacy interface to PanelViews), EtherNet/IP target or originator,

and as Modbus TCP/IP client or server.

As an EtherNet/IP target, a Logix controller can own the router using a Class 1

connection. As an EtherNet/IP originator, the router supports class 1 connection or

explicit messaging.

As a Modbus TCP/IP client, the router can map ControlNet data to Modbus registers for

exchange with Modbus TCP/IP servers. As a Modbus TCP/IP server, the router can

exchange the ControlNet data with Modbus TCP/IP clients.

The I/O data can be accessed via Ethernet using either the PCCC or EtherNet/IP or

Modbus TCP/IP protocols. The support for PCCC protocol allows the router to emulate

user-defined PLC5-type data files data simplifying the migration to Ethernet-only

PanelViews. The router also provides a range of statistics on Ethernet and ControlNet to

assist with fault finding.

A built-in webserver provides detailed diagnostics of system configuration and operation,

including the display of ControlNet operation and communication statistics, without the

need for any additional software.

Prosoft A-CNR ControlNet Router

The A-CNR ControlNet Router provides an efficient method of bridging between

ControlNet and Ethernet networks. The module provides intelligent routing between

EtherNet/IP™ or Modbus TCP/IP® and a ControlNet network. The module can be

configured as a ControlNet Target or an Originator. As a ControlNet target, a Logix

controller can own the ControlNet router using a scheduled connection. As a ControlNet

originator, the module can be configured to own ControlNet I/O or exchange data with up

to 10 ControlNet devices.

Prosoft A-TSM/B Features

The on-board GPS receiver also provides velocity and odometer reading

allowing the user to implement the module in various vehicle and tracking

applications. The GPS accuracy information provided allows the

user/controller to make calculated decision when looking at the position,

velocity, or odometer information.

Features

• Support for Legacy PLC5/SLC time synchronization

• 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) master

• 1588 PTP Network Transport UDP or IEEE802.3

• Network Time Protocol (NTP) master or slave

• High accuracy time synchronization (onboard GPS receiver)

• Isolated GPS Receiver

• Position, Velocity and odometer readings

Configuration

• The Slate Configuration Utility software is used for configuration and

troubleshooting of the module. The stand-alone configuration utility allows

users to define the setup and configuration of the Time Sync module,

connections with controllers and devices.

Prosoft A-TSM/B Time Sync Module

The Time Sync module provides Precision Time Protocol (PTP – Grand

Master) and NTP Time services. This enables precision time

synchronization for Logix Controllers and HMI systems. It can also

provide GPS position and velocity data.  The module uses an on-board

GPS receiver to provide accurate time and position information.

Because the module is stand-alone and connects to various devices over

an Ethernet network the module can be placed as close as possible to

the antenna position removing the need for costly low-loss coaxial cables

that was traditionally needed to connect the GPS antenna to the module.

The on-board GPS receiver also provides velocity and odometer reading

allowing the user to implement the module in various vehicle and tracking

applications. The GPS accuracy information provided allows the

user/controller to make calculated decision when looking at the position,

velocity, or odometer information.

A built-in webserver provides detailed diagnostics of system configuration

and operation, including the display of GPS time, position, and velocity

without the need for any additional software.

Prosoft A-XGPS XPosition Module

The XPosition gateway provides connectivity between high precision GPS

and inertial navigation devices to Rockwell Automation’s Logix

(ControlLogix® and CompactLogix™) family of controllers.

The gateway operates in a Logix “owned” mode. With a Logix connection

the input and output assemblies will provide additional diagnostics

information which will be available in the Logix controller environment.

The gateway uses an external GPS receiver to provide accurate position

information. The external GPS or inertial navigation device provides

various accuracy estimates allowing the user to make informed decisions

for high precision position and velocity applications.

The XPosition gateway supports dual antenna receivers, allowing users to

access Yaw, Tilt and Heading data.

The integrated webserver provides detailed diagnostics of system

configuration and operation, including the display of GPS time, position,

and velocity without the need for any additional software.

Prosoft A-XGPS Features
