139-H-FLC Full Load Current Output Option Relay

The Full Current Output Option Relay 139-H-FLC is a horizontal mounting specialty model.

This model has an external reset switch that works in conjunction with the front panel reset switch.

This model also has an emergency restart option.

Product Description

Model 139-H-FLC is a full load current horizontal mount motor protection relay.

This model has a full load current of 4 to 20 milliamps. Associated protections listed for this relay include overheating, stall-mechanical blocking,

Rotor Lockout, Undercurrent, Ground Fault, Single Phase/Unbalance, Repeat Start, and Overload Protection with selectable curves.

This relay will protect three-phase AC motors from environmental influences that can cause damage.

The 139-H-FLC relay will be used in six applications; one of the applications is to ensure user safety.

This application will utilize the ground fault function to find leakage currents caused by moisture or potential winding shorts in mines, thus preventing shock hazards.

As mentioned above, the relay will be mounted horizontally; it should be noted that a rectangular panel cutout is required for whichever mounting orientation is chosen for the relay.

Once the current breaker is available, the relay will be held in place by two U-clips and then prepared for wiring.

The 139-H-FLC relay can be supplied with ground fault current and it will accept all current carrying conductors through the ground fault current window.

Please note that it is highly recommended that at least two current leads need to be wound together to minimize noise pickup on the relay.

There is a specially designed current that can be used to help output lower level signals.

Woodward APECS™ 0175 Engine Linear Actuator

Description

APECS™ 0175 linear actuators deliver precise positioning and form the foundation of a full electronic governing system.

Many of the moving parts normally associated with electric actuators are eliminated, prolonging the MTBF (mean time between failure).

The actuator design employs the principle of variable reluctance for consistent force over the entire stroke.

This simple design of a proportional electric linear actuator utilizes a linear armature whose magnetic force is proportional to the input current to the coil.

These actuators are easy to install by mounting near the fuel system with a direct connection to the fuel control rod or level.

In most installations, the normal rotary-torotary connection is eliminated, resulting in a more trouble-free and accurate control system.

APECS 0175 actuators are suitable for installation on diesel, gasoline, or natural gas engines with fuel system force requirements of less than 4.0 pounds (17.8 N) of force.

Woodward also manufactures 0175 actuators integral to the engine block or fuel pump.

 All-purpose, externally mounted

 Pull or push actuation

 Flange or base mount

 Internal spring return to minimum fuel position

 Corrosionresistant, plated steel housing, and base or flange

 Precise engine speed control when used with APECS electronic controllers

 Variety of mounting styles, plungers, terminations, and springs available

Applications

Provides proportional fuel control for construction, industrial, and agricultural equipment.

Emerson DeltaV™ VerticalPlus Input/Output Subsystem Carrier

Functional features:

Designed for SIS

Modular design for flexible installation

Allows for online expansion

Increased I/O density

I/O density for cabinet-mounted systems

Introduction to the DeltaV™ VerticalPlus I/O Rack

Keep your I/O subsystems running efficiently with DeltaV™ VerticalPlus I/O Racks.

The VerticalPlus platform allows you to integrate DeltaV SIS logic solvers vertically, giving you the flexibility you need for cabinet design.

Power supplies/controllers and I/O carriers are modular.

You buy only what you need, but rest assured that as your system grows, you can add plug-and-play carriers-it’s easy!

The Advantage

Designed specifically for SIS. The redesigned carrier supports simplex and redundant SLS modules.

These modules communicate via a redundant safety bus, which is separate from the BPCS communications.

The VerticalPlus carrier also communicates with other SIS nodes on the vertical and horizontal carriers via redundant SISNet repeaters.

The modular design allows for flexible installation. A single T-shaped DIN rail is all that is needed to mount the power/controller carrier in place.

Fieldbus power is now independent for each individual card.

The modular design approach of the DeltaV system allows you to add I/O carriers as needed.

Allows you to expand online. Additional carriers can be added online as needed.

Increases the density of the cabinet-mounted system. Six I/O carriers can be mounted on one side of a standard 1200mm x 600mm x 2200mm cabinet.

ABB REF 542plus Multifunctional Protection and Switching Controls

Functions

The REF542plus multifunctional protection and switchboard control unit integrates all auxiliary functions in one unit.

The multifunctional unit also has a self-monitoring function. All functions are designed as freely configurable software modules.

As a result, the various operational requirements of a MV station can be met without any problems.

The versatility of the software allows the REF542plus to be used on every switchboard regardless of the specific application requirements.

Configuration

Each protection and control application can be easily configured via the software function module, which allows the following functions to be arbitrarily defined as part of the secondary system:

LEDs for local indication (meaning and colour)

Single line diagrams showing the status of switching devices

Protection programme

Control programmes

Interlocking programmes

Automation sequences

All functions of the switchboard can be specified in co-operation with ABB. The configuration results are saved and delivered to the user together with the switchboard.

By using the “Function Block” programming language (FUPLA), the REF542plus multifunctional protection and switchboard control unit provides engineers, in

especially non-software specialists, the opportunity to easily update switchboard operation and handling.

With the REF542plus, users can fully integrate secondary systems into a true programmable controller.

This flexibility is very favourable for defining control functions for automation sequences.

This can include, for example, interlocking of switchgear, preventing the release of specific protective functions and initiating switching sequences.

The REF542plus multifunction unit offers a wide range of logic functions so that the various required control schemes can be configured.

The required control schemes are configured.
