About the IC200MDL240

The IC200MDL240 is a discrete input module from the VersaMax I/O platform formerly manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms and now manufactured by Emerson Automation. The module is a sixteen (16) point discrete input module that supports forward logic or source wiring configurations. It can be used to connect field and electrical devices that provide binary or on/off signal states, such as auxiliary contacts, proximity sensors, pushbutton devices, limit switches, and similar devices.

This 16-point module accepts an input signal voltage range of 0-132 VAC, 47-63 Hz, with a nominal signal voltage of 120 VAC and a minimum on-state current of 7 mA.The input channels are divided into two (2) groups of eight (8) channels each with a dedicated common channel. Its group-to-group isolation is rated at 250 VAC for 1 minute and 1500 VAC. Similarly, the module’s optical isolation (logically isolated user inputs) as well as rack ground isolation are rated at 1500 VAC (1 minute) and 250 VAC (continuous).

The turn-on response time for each channel is 1 cycle with a minimum of 2 ms, while the turn-off response time is 2 ms. The turn-on state voltage is 70-132 VAC, and the turn-off state voltage range is 0-40 VAC. In addition, the turn-on state current is a minimum of 7 mA, while the turn-off state current is a maximum of 1.5 mA.

The design of the PCH 1026 is based on a www.cniacs.com digital platform that provides customers with a wide range of solutions and allows for quick configuration and setup changes in the field.

Signal Conditioning

All signal conditioning is performed digitally.

This means that settings and configurations can be changed and verified via the included PC software programme (CHT1012).

Digital signal processing is performed by state-of-the-art DSP technology, ensuring accurate and efficient monitoring.

Selective monitoring of frequencies or bands of interest can be achieved by choosing from a variety of high and low pass filters. Simply select from which frequency to monitor.

The PCH 1026 has a wide range of filters that have been proven over many years of industry experience.

PCH Engineering External Bidirectional Low Frequency Accelerometer CHB 1101

The CHB 1101 transmitter is an external bi-directional low frequency accelerometer for use with the PCH 1026 mk2 wind turbine and structural vibration monitor.

The external bi-directional accelerometer is used for advanced nacelle monitoring with distributed pick-up points.

Separate cables with integrated D-Sub and M12 connectors make installation and connection of the vibration monitor very simple.

Easy to install

The CHB 1101 has an internal www.cniacs.com memory chip which stores factory information: serial number, model number, sensitivity and self-test parameters.

When the CHB 1101 is connected, the monitor reads the information in the memory chip and automatically adapts to the settings of the particular sensor.

This means that the accelerometer can be freely replaced without having to manually change the parameters.

The monitor reads the chip every 30 seconds to verify that the accelerometer is still connected and recognised.

The monitor will stabilise for 20 seconds after power is applied.

The stabilisation time after disconnecting/connecting the CHB 1101 is 3 seconds. During settling, the PCH 1026 Mk2 will perform a self-test of the internal and external accelerometers.

Self-Test

The monitor will issue a system error message if the self-test fails or the accelerometer is disconnected.

Accelerometers must be specified in the PCH 1026 Vibration Monitor setup to use this feature.

The CHB 1101 accelerometer is an optional feature of the PCH 1026 Mk2 Wind Turbine and Structural Vibration Monitor.
