Alle Operator Terminals verwenden eine Systemsoftware

bestehend aus dem Betriebssystem (Linux oder Windows

Embedded) und zusätzlichen Bachmann-Software-Kompo

nenten.

Die Bachmann-Software-Komponenten vereinfachen Kon

figuration, Inbetriebnahme und Diagnose lokal am

Gerät und aus der Ferne per Webbrowser oder dem

SolutionCenter. Darüber hinaus bietet die Systemsoftware

die Möglichkeit, Updates einzuspielen und aus einer Visua

lisierung auf die Geräteschnittstellen zuzugreifen.

Auf dem Betriebssystem sind weitere nützliche Services

und Softwarepakete vorinstalliert, um die Entwicklungszeit

für gängige Anwendungsszenarien zu verkürzen. Webba

sierte Visualisierungslösungen wie M1 webMI pro und

atvise SCADA sind damit sehr einfach einzurichten. Der

integrierte Browser ist auf industrielle Anwendungen zuge

schnitten und bietet unter anderem eine OnScreen-Tas

tatur (vergleichbar mit einem Smartphone) für Benutze

reingaben.

Bei Bedarf kann die Systemsoftware erweitert und an ihre

Anforderungen angepasst werden und wird kundenspezi

fisch ab Werk mit den Terminals ausgeliefert.

Bachmann M-JVIS, M-JSYS Java Libraries

M-JVIS, M-JSYS Java Libraries

M-JVIS and M-JSYS are libraries for creation of visualizations

under Java that can be used platform-independently on

Java-capable devices. The components are based on Java

version 1.1.8.

M-JVIS consists of the following packets:

● M-JVIS/DACC

● M-JVIS/UTIL

● M-JVIS/GUI

The packets are divided into two types of classes:

● Configuration classes that are implemented in the form

of beans

● Runtime classes that permit a dynamic configuration

and during runtime handle the management or presen

tation of the data

The configurations of all objects are stored in XML files.

M-JVIS/DACC

The M-JVIS/DACC packet manages process variables and

their values (DACC = Data Access).

M-JVIS/DACC consists of the following components:

● Process variable management

● Recipe management

● Unit switchover

● Communication interface

M-JVIS/UTIL

The M-JVIS/UTIL packet consists of the following compo

nents:

● Language management / language switchover

● Protocols

● Alarm handling

● Quality table / statistical process control

M-JVIS/GUI

The M-JVIS/GUI packet contains the graphic components.

The graphic components are based on AWT.

With the high-performance CFast memory cards, system

updates and repairs can be carried out simply and quickly

by changing the mass storage. The CFast memory cards in

use are specially selected industrial types which meet the

requirements of demanding operation conditions.

In contrast to SLC flash memory media, MLC technology

remains reasonably priced even for larger memory capaci

ties. Compared to SLC technology, the lower lifetime is due

to the higher level of wear and tear at the same memory

capacity – depending on the deployment scenario. How

ever, this can be counteracted by choosing a correspond

ingly larger memory capacity.

CFA200 SLC CFast Memory

The full speed of the SATA interface is available with the

CFast memory card for powerful controllers. Transfer rates

up to 30 times higher than CF cards can be achieved.

Given the high availability demands placed on automation

systems, program and data memory must be selected with

particular care. The CFast memory cards CFA200 SLC are

therefore especially selected industrial types that can cope

with the requirements of harsh daily working routines.

Use of the CFA200 SLC both in CPUs of the M200 family

as well as in our visualization devices is strongly recom

mended due to the extreme environmental conditions, the

large number of supported write cycles and the many years

of lasting experience with suppliers. The robustness was

significantly increased in comparison with a CF card via a

stable edge connector.

Bachmann Das Web Terminal OT1200 Features

Das auf Debian Linux basierende System stellt eine

einfach zu verwendende, webbasierte Konfigurationsober

fläche zur Verfügung. Sämtliche Einstellungen können per

Touch-Eingaben direkt am Gerät oder remote über einen

Browser vorgenommen werden. Die Systemsoftware bein

haltet weitere nützliche Services (z. B. SSH, NTP, VNC), sowie

eine Web-API mit sicherem Zugriff auf Hardware-Funkti

Bachmann Operator Terminal System Software

All operator terminals use system software comprising the

operating system (Linux or Windows Embedded) and addi

tional Bachmann software components.

The Bachmann software components simplify configura

tion, commissioning and diagnostics locally on the device

and remotely via a web browser or the SolutionCenter.

Furthermore, the system software provides the option

of importing updates and accessing the device interfaces

from a visualization.

Additional useful services and software packages are pre

installed on the operating system in order to reduce the

development time for common application scenarios. Thus,

web-based visualization solutions such as M1 webMI pro

and atvise SCADA are very easy to set up. The integrated

browser is tailored to industrial applications and offers,

among other things, an on-screen keyboard (comparable

with a smartphone) for user inputs.

The system software can be extended and adapted to suit

your needs if required and is supplied from the factory

customized with the terminals.
