Achieving your goal quickly and efficiently

With the atvise® builder as an engineering tool with full graphic support, atvise® hmi offers everything needed for the rapid implementation of visualizations. In addition to an extensive object catalogue, drag and drop support and consistent object orientation, atvise® users also have a fully integrated responsive design framework at their disposal. Numerous prepared dynamizations, drag and drop support and high degrees of freedom in implementation enable both beginners and experts to use the atvise® hmi optimally. Development is possible on 3 levels:

For beginners: Simple dynamization with preconfigured dynamizations are easily created.

For professionals: Simple Dynamics allows for dynamizations to be implemented in a variety of ways via modular toolbox.

For experts: Client- and server-side scripting with an integrated development environment as well as the possibility of expanding atvise® with external libraries and frameworks adding more functionality.

Versatile regarding data communication

In addition to direct connection via OPC UA Client, Siemens S7 300/400/1200/1500 as well as Rockwell Compact Logix controllers can be connected for data acquisition via the atvise® connect communication module. Additional generic interfaces are also offered, e.g. KNX, BACnet and MQTT Due to the integrated onboard OPC UA server, atvise® hmi applications can be easily expanded at any time. The special feature here is that not only live data, but also alarms and historical data can be synchronised seamlessly across several levels via the OPC UA interface. The OPC UA interface also allows access to the peripherals using connection and user certificates. For example, after successful implementation of the HMI, a higher-level atvise® scada application can be implemented downstream without having to invest in data interfaces and without interrupting operation of the HMI applications.

Bachmann Intelligent engineering functions

Intelligent engineering functions

With the atvise® builder as an engineering tool, users of atvise® embedded have a wide range of intelligent functions at their disposal.

Graphic objects can be developed in a consistent modular and object-oriented manner. In this way, individual, simple subcomponents can be combined to form extensive and complex components. Configurable parameters of higherlevel graphic components can be passed on to the subcomponents contained together with graphic support. The interaction logic of individual graphic objects can also be mapped in a modularised way to further increase engineering efficiency. In this way, several graphic objects can use the same logic module.

A change to the logic module has an immediate effect on all referenced graphic objects.

Bachmann Visualization Software Controlling and monitoring processes

Visualization Software

Controlling and monitoring processes

In the automation industry, the approaches behind Industry 4.0 and the associated

dissolution of the rigid automation pyramid are widely discussed but rarely put into

practice. Unfortunately, solutions closely following this rigid principle are still frequently

found in the field. The visualization solutions from Bachmann take a different approach.

In order to advance digitalization in the field of automation, our products focus on

modern solutions.

Increasing complexity and the constantly escalating degree of automation in a wide

variety of systems demand future-oriented technologies to monitor and control processes

effectively. HMI and SCADA systems contribute significantly in this regard and guarantee

maximum security. Furthermore, future applications must be highly flexible, because in

the age of mobile devices, being tied to fixed operating stations is a thing of the past.

Due to their generic structure, the HMI and SCADA solutions provided by Bachmann

electronic, which are especially designed for professional automation and control center

technology, can be used in all application areas and industries such as energy, plant

construction and mechanical engineering, maritime applications or logistics.

The modern and efficient structure permits scaling from very small applications with

a few dozen information points up to large-scale plant technology with several hundred

thousand process variables. Top-quality user interfaces are produced by using pure

web technologies; thus eliminating the need for installation on HMI devices.

Visualization is available on all devices with a standard browser and is not constrained

by screen sizes and resolutions.

Bachmann Grid Measurement, Protection and Control

Safe. Fast. Stable.

PLC integrated solutions for the energy supply

A scalable range of multifunctional grid measurement and protection systems are available as plug-in modules for the Bachmann automation system. The measurement of all characteristic grid variables such as voltage, current, power or frequency directly within the control system permits significant correlation with other operational data, as well as an excellent reaction time. The measured data is rapidly calculated without additional delay times due to fieldbusses or transceivers.

Each module type integrates with the entire M200 I/O portfolio and can be used multiple times per CPU. The PLC’s SSL/TLS secured authentication and authorization unit protects the grid measurement modules from unwanted changes and cyberattacks. All types of field busses, including SAE J1939 as well as OPC UA and RTU standards such as IEC 61850. IEC 60870-5-101/-103/-104. DNP3 or Modbus, are available to exchange data with grid operators, plant controllers or generation units.

Existing component certificates for grid-connected operation according to VDE-AR-N 4105/4110. ENA ER G99 and IEEE Std. C37.90 simplify the operational notification and compliance process. Maritime Class Approvals from DNV, BV, LR, ABS, RINA, KR and NK allow implementation on vessels and offshore installations. Compliance with UL/cUL and CSA make the devices suitable for applications in North America.

A coated version allows grid measurement and protection even in challenging environments with high humidity (condensation), such as damp heat in tropics or cold starts in polar regions.

Grid measurement and protection as an integral part of a modular PLC system can be seen from two perspectives:

• Fully programmable and extensible measurement and protection solution:

API for sampling and all calculated quantities in connection with the open programmable CPU system permits flexible adaptation to multiple measuring tasks.

• Operational control (PLC) extended with grid measurement and protection:

Unifying the control system with grid measurement and protection leads to outstanding reaction time and is also cost efficient due to the reduction of unnecessary components and minimal introduction and training effort.
